Gentani scientific illustrations and prepared museum specimens were previously on public display in downtown Vallejo, California from September 2014 - September 2015.

In conjunction with the Vallejo Art Windows project, this display merged science and art to excite people about California wildlife, with hopes of inspiring community to support environmental conservation efforts.

In November 2015, Gentani was honored to win first place in a volunteer T-shirt design contest for the Foundation for the Preservation of the Santa Susana Mountains (FPSSM), a non-profit working to preserve wild spaces in Los Angeles County, California.

This contest was conceived to engage the public, promote the Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park, and collaborate with artists to create unique and creative artworks to represent the organization's mission on T-Shirts and fun products for volunteers and visitors.
